We’re the only hospital to hold the top ranking since the award began. Our cancer, cardiology, heart & vascular surgery, orthopedics and rehabilitation specialties are ranked No. 1 in Kansas and Kansas City. About the rankings

Since 1990, U.S. News & World Report's best hospitals ranking has served as a respected source for identifying quality healthcare providers. The rankings highlight medical centers that excel in high-risk inpatient care and complex procedures.

U.S. News evaluates measures such as patient survival, advanced technologies, patient safety and hospital reputation. The resulting best hospitals are organized into specialty areas and updated every July.
