Construction Updates for a Growing Health System

In support of the growing number of patients, staff and guests visiting our 39^th and Rainbow campus, we’re adding a new parking garage – Parking Garage 6 (P6) to the north of existing Parking Garage 5 (P5). The P6 garage will bring 2,300 new parking spaces to the campus upon its completion in 2028.

When parking on the 39th and Rainbow campus, these parking garages are available for patients and guests:

• P2 Garage: 2070 Olathe Blvd., Kansas City, KS 66160 (7-foot height clearance)
• P3 Garage: 4001 Cambridge St., Kansas City, KS 66160 (7-foot height clearance)
• P5 Garage: 3724 Cambridge St., Kansas City, KS 66160 (8-foot height clearance)

Beginning July 20, Eaton Street will be closed between 36th Avenue and 37th Avenue until mid-August. Eaton Street runs north/south 2 blocks west of State Line Road. On-site signage will clearly mark driving detours.

P5 will remain accessible during the Eaton Street closure. Drivers will be routed from Cambridge Street to 37th Avenue and then into the garage.

Driving directions:

• From I-35 Exit at 7th Street Trafficway/Rainbow Boulevard.
  • Turn south on 7th Street Trafficway and continue onto Rainbow Boulevard.
  • Turn east (left) on W 36th Avenue.
  • Turn south (right) on Cambridge Street.
  • Turn west (right) on 37th Avenue.
  • Turn north (right) on Eaton Street, where a small stretch remains open to allow entry into the garage, on your right.

• From State Line Road, turn west onto 36th Avenue.
  • Turn south (left) on Cambridge Street.
  • Turn west (right) on 37th Avenue.
  • Turn north (right) on Eaton Street, where a small stretch remains open to allow entry into the garage, on your right.

As always on our busy campus, please allow yourself plenty of time for parking.
