The University of Kansas Health System’s Quivira Ambulatory Surgery Center is a convenient location for patients in the southwest Kansas City area to access the benefits of evidence-based surgical care from an academic medical center. At this location, we provide same-day surgical services for orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology and more.
Please allow extra time to reach this location. From April 2026 to January 2027, there will be road construction between 143rd Street and 151st Street, which may include closure of the Quivira Road entrance. The 151st Street entrance will remain accessible throughout the road work project.
Patient and visitor information
Take I-35 to 151st Street in Olathe, Kansas.
Turn east onto 151st Street.
Continue on 151st Street, crossing Pflumm Road (Quivira Medical Pavilion A will be on your left before reaching Quivira Road).
Continue to 151st Street and Quivira Road (we are located at the northwest corner).
Do not proceed further west to the intersection of 151st Street and Mahaffie Street, just south of the Garmin building.
Free parking is available directly in front of the entrance.
Upon entering the building, take the stairs or elevator to Level 2. Check in at the registration desk.
